TIPS & TRICKS

Example Addresses to test infrequently encountered statuses

February 04, 2015

Developers usually have no problem finding invalid and valid addresses to test with their implementations of MightyVerify. But for less-frequently encountered statuses, this has been a little bit more difficult.

So we have just created two new addresses (and domains):

anyone@unknown.tester.mightyverify.com - will always verify as UNKNOWN [tests against this address (and domain) will be free!]

anyone@accept-all.tester.mightyverify.com - will always verify as ACCEPT_ALL [WARNING: tests against this domain will incur normal usage costs]

If you require unique addresses with these statuses to test, note that you can actually use any username for the username portion of the address - like
"user1@unknown.tester.mightyverify.com," or "sample7@accept-all.tester.mightyverify.com”

Exporting as a CSV file from Excel

January 22, 2014

In order to verify your file with MightyVerify, you will need to have your email list saved as either a .txt or .csv file. Even if you have already received your file as a .csv, we strongly recommend opening the file in Excel and re-exporting as a .csv to make sure that it is done correctly.
