Create a MightyVerify account by visiting https://app.mightyverify.com/users/sign_up
Once your account has been created, you will need to upgrade to MightyForms. This can be done by either logging into MightyVerify and either clicking the "Upgrade to MightyForms" button, or by going to "Account Settings" and choosing "Plans"
Once your account is created, click the ‘Forms’ tab and click on the ‘Trusted Domains’ button.
Add the root URL http://app.unbounce.com. This URL is the preview URL for Unbounce.
Add a second URL http://unbouncepages.com. This is the default URL for your live form. If you are using a custom domain enter it en lieu of unbouncepages.com. You can come back to this step if you add a custom domain later.
Next click the ‘+ New Form’ button, name your form, and click ‘Create Form.’ Copy the code snippet as you will paste it in Step 6.
Visit Unbounce.com, log in (or create an account), and click ‘Create New Page.’ Select your template, name your template, and click ‘Start With This Template’ in the upper right part of your screen.
NOTE: make sure the template you selected has a form embedded or add a form to a template if one is not included.
At the very bottom of your page you’ll see Javascripts. Click the plus sign to the right of Javascripts.
On the following page name the javascript ‘mightyforms’ and select ‘Before Body End Tag’ from the Placement drop down menu.
Paste the MightyForms snippet copied in Step 3 into the open field and click ‘Done’ in the lower right hand corner.
Once your account is created, click the ‘Forms’ tab and click on the ‘Trusted Domains’ button.
At the top of the page click Save Changes and click ‘Preview’ in the upper right to open your form in preview mode.
IMPORTANT!! By default your form is set to test mode. You will ONLY be able to test the following addresses:
valid@mightyforms.com: This will simulate a valid verification.
invalid@mightyforms.com: This will simulate an invalid verification.
unknown@mightyforms.com: This will simulate an unknown verification.
acceptall@mightyforms.com: This will simulate an accept_all verification.
fraud@mightyforms.com: This will simulate a submission suspected of being fraudulent.
This will allow you to develop and run MightyForms from your local machine without having to authorize any domains or worry about triggering MightyVerify's fraud tools and security countermeasures. In test mode you will need to use certain emails to simulate certain events. Submissions and Verifications will still be tracked but they will all be marked as test transactions and only appear in reporting when the form is in test mode.
You must take your form out of test mode in order to validate anything other than the addresses shown above. You will do this in Step 11.
NOTE: If the event doesn’t fire visit mightyverify.com and click on the ‘question mark’ in the lower right for assistance.
Once you’ve confirmed verification is working, click the Unbounce icon on the upper left-most side of the page then click on the page / form you’re setting up.
At the top of the screen you will see the URL of your form.
You can either use http://unbouncepages.com as your root URL or add a custom domain. We suggest a custom domain for security purposes. Information about creating a custom domain is available here:
http://documentation.unbounce.com/hc/en-us/articles/203661044-Mapping-Your- Landing-Page-Domain- CNAME-Records-and-SSL-
After your custom domain is added, revisit MightyForms, click the Forms tab, click ‘Trusted Domains’ and replace http://unbouncepages.com with your new root URL.
Back to MightyForms, click on the ‘Forms’ tab then on the MightyForm you just created to view all your test analytics.
This screen will provide valuable information about your form health once your form is turned live.
When your form is ready to be turned live visit the MightyForms Form tab, click on your MightyForm and move the toggle switch at the top of your analytics page from Test to Live.
NOTE: All analytics observed during test mode will be reset to 0 when you turn your form live.
